Yes. Trivvi is completely free for diners. Just download the app, create an account, and start discovering. All completely free of charge
How are notifications decided?
You choose the foods you like and your preferred distance. When restaurants send out alerts, our algorithm cross matches your preferences with what the restaurant is offering, ensuring your alerts are relevant to you.
Do all alerts include discounts?
Not always. Some Chirps highlight limited-time offers, while others spotlight great local spots when they're quieter than usual.
How is this different from Yelp / Google Maps?
Yelp and Maps help you research. Trivvi understands that your time is valuable and it aims to cut through the endless scrolling and actually get you moving. It notifies you of great food options nearby, tailored to your tastes, right when you need it.
When will Trivvi launch in my city?
We're targeting a Toronto, Ontario launch first. The more demand we see in an area, the sooner Trivvi arrives there. Launch area is subject to change based on demand and growth.
Is Trivvi safe with my location and personal info?
Yes. Trivvi uses your location only while the app is open and permissions have been granted to show nearby restaurants and deliver more accurate alerts. We use precise location so notifications trigger at the right time. Trivvi does not track you in the background, store movement history, or sell your location data. Do I have to share my location?
Nope! You can manually set your location anytime. If you opt in, Trivvi checks your area only when you open the app — never in the background. Offers shown match your food preferences.
